I step out into the darkness,
with dew-kissed wings outspread,
unfurled toward the sky in exultation,
as shadows rescind into
the blessings of the night,
and a glorious panoramic array
of prismatic colors cascade
across the apex of the horizon,
like the gushing flow of a tidal current,
cradled within the arms of a
glorious celestial orb of transcending illumination.
I stand in awe-struck wonder and contemplation,
of a single moment captured in time,
where darkness and light intertwine,
in the transition of night into day,
and I am captivated.
