Fathomless Depths Unbound

Dragged down beneath the ocean's current,
captured and sinking in a salt water deterrent,
where light cascades beneath a darkened veil,
and safety above calls gently upon a zephyr sail,
to reach its tendrils into fathomless depths unbound,
deep into the heart of silent resound,
where the breath of life is a formidable unknown,
and the sinking soul struggles to atone,
in a willful battle fought in vain,
leaving the mind shattered, lost and insane.
And as glistening orbs descend into shadowy pools,
and memory is lost upon the thoughts of fools,
the struggle is done in time to forget,
laying the clock back in a gentle reset,
where time is rewound and troubles reborn,
casting the spirit back into a new forming storm,
where the cascades and currents of an ocean's wrath,
force the soul upon a singular path,
where pain and struggle are lesson to learn,
hidden from the light which can tenderly burn,
until finally the soul, now freed from its weight,
of malice, prejudice, sorrow and hate,
can rise beyond depths of turbulent waves,
and soar upon the horizon amongst heaven's conclaves.

We are all walking our own singular paths, filled with pain and anguish (no matter what it is) . And despite losses that we feel ourselves sinking into, one day we all will rise above the shifting currents and soar. For some that time will be today, and for others it will be in a time to come, but there can be no doubt that it will come for each and every one of us. So hold on tight, embrace the gift of life, and keep hope burning as a light for tomorrow.
