I Am Beautiful In Every Way

My heart is filled with love for you,
but I will not rise and fall

For though you can not see,
I stand in the light of day and
and in truth, I know
I am strong,
I am wise,
and I am beautiful in every way.
I am divine,
I am redeemed,
and I am deserving of love
for all of my days.

close beside me in my heart,

and be the shadow you want me to be.
For I can stand on my own,
treading beside you or walking alone
for in truth, my love, I know

Author's Notes: Love is an absolutely beautiful and engrossing emotion. At times though it can blind us to a truth which we all need to hear, especially when that love becomes unhealthy. Sometimes we need to wake up and realize that there is life beyond a bruised and battered love. And that we are still beautiful and divine despite of this bitter sweet love, not tainted or used because of it.. We are worthy of that promise of hope through a new life of independence.
